The separated migrant children are being detained in at least three shelters across southern Texas.

One is in the Texas city of Brownsville, on the Mexico border.

Ever since the zero-tolerance policy on immigration went into effect and children started being separated from their parents, it not only brought unwanted attention to this town but also divided opinion.
