US gun control: Corporations take action

The school shooting in Florida last month has reignited the Congressional debate on whether to tighten gun control laws in the US.

Democrats are demanding thorough background checks, while Republicans are opposing restrictions on the constitutional right to bear arms.

However, some corporations are not waiting for Congress to take action.

Outdoor gear maker LL Bean is the latest company to unilaterally raise the minimum age for gun sales. Earlier, Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods and Kroger announced they would no longer sell guns to customers younger than 21 years old.

Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from New York, US.
