US gaming firm Take-Two Interactive Software to open new London office

The US firm behind Rockstar Games, which publishes the Grand Theft Auto franchise, is to relocate its European HQ to London, the Evening Standard can reveal.

In a major vote of confidence in the capital, Take-Two Interactive Software plans to move to the West End from Windsor, where it employs over 150 people, by 2021.

The firm has signed a lease with landlord Blue Coast Capital for all the 40,000 square feet of offices at 30 Cleveland Street which has just been revamped.

Property agents Edward Charles & Partners and JLL advised the landlord, and Cushman & Wakefield worked with the tenant.

Serhad Koro, managing Director EMEA/APAC of Take-Two Interactive Software, praised good transport links in the area which “will be further enhanced by the arrival of the Elizabeth Line at Tottenham Court Road station”.

Blue Coast Capital’s asset management director, John Stacey, said: “It’s very apt that a building which dates back to the 1930s and was once let to Dennis Publishing will now be occupied by a business which is so emblematic of contemporary creativity.”
