The US embassy in Saudi Arabia condemned on Monday the latest attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen against the Kingdom.
The mission, in an Arabic-language post on Twitter on Monday, said "the heinous Houthi assaults on civilians and vital infrastructure" demonstrated lack of respect for human life and disregard for peace efforts.
The United States stands by Saudi Arabia and its people, it added, saying Washington’s commitment to defend the Kingdom and its security was unwavering.
