US election 2020: Donald Trump declares 'win' and vows 'to go to Supreme Court'

Donald Trump has declared 'they can't catch us' in a statement to supporters at the White House this morning (November 4).

Walking on stage to Hail to the Chief, the sitting US President was defiant following Joe Biden's claim he is "on-track" to win the US Election.

The Democratic candidate spoke earlier at a rally in Wilmington, Delaware, and urged his supporters to 'keep the faith'.

But Trump later stated the Republicans believed they had won the states of Georgia and North Carolina - which were yet to declare.

Describing the situation as a 'major fraud on the American public and a disgrace to our nation', he revealed he will be 'going to the Supreme Court'.

He said: "Millions of people voted for us and a very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise the American people."

Trump admitted defeat in Arizona was “possible”, but declared: “We don’t need it, that was just a state we would have got that would have been nice.”

He said he would go to the US Supreme Court, saying: “This is a fraud on the American public, this is an embarrassment. We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.

“This is a major fraud on our nation.”
