US concern over Pakistani journalists

The United States embassy in Islamabad has expressed its concern over the harassment of journalists in Pakistan. Two diplomats called on the country's information and broadcasting minister Muhammad Ali Durrani to ensure that journalists are allowed to work without intimidation and fear of reprisal following a string of recent incidents in which police have abducted Pakistani journalists.
