US company Patreon to create 30 jobs with new European HQ office opening in Dublin

Patreon, the membership and payment platform for independent artists and their fans, announced on Monday that it is opening a new office in Dublin.

The brand new office will be the European HQ for the company.

Over the next two years, the company plans to create 30 new roles within its Product, Engineering and general administrative teams.

Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys expressed her joy at the news.

She said: "I’m delighted to see that Patreon are setting up their European HQ in Dublin with the creation of 30 new jobs.

"This announcement once again shows that we have the right skills and talent available to enable exciting companies like Patreon to establish and grow their operations in Ireland, and it is why Dublin continues to be the Tech Capital of Europe.”
