US celebrity blogger says Harry 'will move back to UK after deal with royals'

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex should "give up” on their Hollywood dreams and move back to the UK, claims a controversial US celebrity blogger.

The American media personality dubbed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as "boring” and claimed their ongoing "drama” with the Royals is the only thing catching people's attention.

"Honestly, they need to give up and move back to the UK,” Hilton told US media site Page Six.

"I feel like it’s inevitable. I don’t mean this as an insult but they’re both boring.

"The only thing that makes them interesting is the family in the UK and all of that drama.”

The celebrity blogger claimed couple's royal titles aren't as well-recognised in the United States and said that the pair must "play by the rules" of Hollywood like every other celebrity in Los Angeles.

“In America, she and he are not royals to us. They’re just celebrities and they have to play by the rules of celebrity,” Hilton added.

"You have to work at it to maintain celebrity because the only way to monetise your celebrity is to maximise it and feed the machine.

"I don’t dislike them, but I don’t like them either.”

Hilton said he believes that Harry will "ultimately end up moving back” because the royal family will give Harry the bigger role he craves, with more freedom.

"I respect what it all boils down to which is, Harry never liked being the ‘Spare',” Hilton said.

"I get that. He never wanted to play by the palace rules. I get that. He was a grown man and wanted to make his own decisions and he wasn’t allowed to do that under the system that he was in.

"So that’s why I do feel like he will ultimately end up moving back because there will be some kind of compromise.”

Prince Harry announced, along with the palace, in April that he would be attending the crowning of his father, the King, and his stepmother, the Queen Consort, at Westminster Abbey on Saturday.

The Duchess of Sussex, 41, has decided to remain at home in Los Angeles to be with the couple’s son Prince Archie on his fourth birthday.
