US businesses urge Trump to reverse course on China tariffs

US President Donald Trump is gearing up to put in motion the next punishing set of tariffs on China - to the tune of $200 billion. Beijing vows it will retaliate with more tariffs of its own. Top US tech companies such as Cisco and Hewlett-Packard have now jumped into the fray, making a last-ditch attempt to convince the Trump administration to reconsider.
