Raashan Ahmad is this month embarking on a tour of France where he will showcase his latest album "The Sun". It contains eight tracks that jump from traditional hip-hop, to spoken word, to jolly pop infused with soul jazz sounds from South America and melodies from West Africa. Through this new record the artist embraces politically conscious topics as well as touching on his personal experience of grief in a way that will resonate with others.
He tells us more about this new record and his special relationship with France.
