The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued a warning after a popular Donnybrook Fair treat was found unsafe for some people.
It said a mispacked batch of Donnybrook Fair Banana Bread was found to contain milk and nuts which are allergens. The product is pack size 250g and has batch code 073 and a best before date: 21/03/2023.
The Banana Bread was mispacked with Donnybrook Fair Carrot Cake, FSAI revealed. A spokesperson said: "The above batch of Donnybrook Fair Banana Bread was mispacked with Donnybrook Fair Carrot Cake.
"This product contains milk and walnuts which are not declared in the list of ingredients. This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk and/or walnuts."
