By Emma Gill

An urgent warning has been issued over the children's yoghurt tubes Frubes after small pieces of metal were found.

Yoplait UK is recalling the Strawberry, Red Berry and Peach Variety Pack and has issued a recall notice.

The announcement tells customers: "Small pieces of metal have been found in some of the peach flavour Frubes within this multipack."

It says 'only a small number of products are expected to be affected' but is recalling the full range of the product with a use by date of February 9, 2022.

A warning notice from Which? (Which)

The statement from Yoplait adds: "Customer safety is paramount to Yoplait and we take the safety and production of our food extremely seriously."

Consumer watchdog Which? has issued its own warning over the product, which contains nine 37g tubes in the pack.

Anyone who has bought a pack with the date stated is warned not to eat them and to return the pack to the store where it was bought for a full refund. For more information contact Yoplait on 0800 358 0401.
