Urgent South Wales Police appeal for missing Anthony Prowse

Update: South Wales Police confirmed today that missing Anthony Prowse has since been found.

South Wales Police are urgently appealing for information to help trace pensioner Anthony Prowse.

Mr Prowse who suffers from dementia has been reported as missing. He has links to the Pencoed and Bridgend area. Anthony was last seen leaving his family home at approximately 1.30pm today (Friday December 17) and has not returned.

Police are increasingly concerned for his welfare and are appealing for any witnesses to contact 999 immediately.

South Wales Police tweeted at 10.06pm: "#MISSING l Have you seen Anthony Prowse who is missing from #Pencoed #Bridgend?"

"Anthony, who has dementia, left his family home at around 1.30pm today & has failed to return."

"Any sightings or info, please contact us ref *439362"
