Urgent search launched to find man, 21, missing from Coatbridge home

An urgent search has been launched to find a 21-year-old man missing from his Coatbridge home.

Calum Wilson's family and friends have issued a desperate social media appeal for help to trace him, describing his actions as "out of character".

Calum was last seen at Glasgow Central Station at around 1pm yesterday, and is also known to frequent the Motherwell and Carluke areas.

Police Scotland have confirmed that their search for Calum is ongoing and asked anyone with information about him to come forward.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "Around 7.30 pm on Wednesday, 18 November, 2020, 21-year-old Calum Wilson from Coatbridge was reported missing to police. He was last seen at Central Station, Glasgow City Centre, around 1pm yesterday afternoon (Wed 18/11). Known to frequent Motherwell and Carluke areas.

"Enquiries are ongoing to trace him. Any information on his whereabouts can be passed to officers at Motherwell via 101 quoting reference number 3027 of 18 November, 2020."
