Police launch urgent search for two teenage boys who vanished 48 hours ago

An urgent search has been launched to trace two teens who vanished two days ago.

Officers say James Carr, 16, and Adam Greens, 14, were last seen around 9pm on Friday May 26 on Greenock Road in Bishopton, Renfrewshire.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for their welfare and urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of either boys to come forward.

James is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall and with brown hair.

When he was last seen James was wearing grey Nike trainers, black Nike joggers, a black t-shirt, a black jumper, and a black and grey Northface jacket.

Cops say James is sometimes known to use public transport and has been previously travelled to Invergordon and Edinburgh.

Adam is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, white, with fair blonde hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing black Jumper, white nike air force trainers, black Armani body warmer and blue Nike Jogging bottoms.

Adam is known to use public transport and has previously frequented the Invergordon and Edinburgh areas.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Anyone who may have seen James or Adam, or has any information on their whereabouts are urged to contact Police via 101 quoting incident number 4829 of 26th May 2023.
