A search has been launched for a missing Scots man with vulnerabilities after his 'out of character' disappearance.
The family of 38-year-old Joshua Robert Holland - known as Robert - are growing 'increasingly concerned' after he vanished from his home in Ardrossan on Tuesday.
He was last seen on Glasgow Street in the Ayrshire town at around 1pm on Tuesday.
Friends and family have not heard from him since.
He is described as 5' 6'' in height, average build with short dark hair.
Robert was last seen wearing a black hooded top, black jacket, dark coloured trousers and a grey woollen hat.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing.
Robert is known to visit the Saltcoats and Ardrossan area however was also in Irvine the day prior to his last sighting.
Inspector Alison Wilson said:"It is quite out of character for Robert not be in touch with his family and friends for this period of time.
"They are becoming increasingly concerned for him. Robert does have some vulnerabilities and so we are very keen to know he is safe.
"If anyone has seen Robert or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts, please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1613 of 17/2/21."
