Missing Gateshead 17-year-old Tyla McKenzie found safe and well

Missing Gateshead teenager Tyla McKenzie has been found safe and well.

Tyla, 17, had last been seen at an address on Hewitson Terrace, in Felling, at about 8.30pm on Monday, December 21, but her family had not seen or heard from her since.

On Thursday afternoon, Northumbria Police confirmed that Tyla had been found safe and well.

The force thanked those who shared an appeal to find her.
