Urgent search launched for missing Aberdeen woman who disappeared on Sunday

A Scots woman has been reported missing as police appeal for information to help trace her.

Debbie Newlands, 51, was last seen on Westburn Road in the Rosemount area of Aberdeen at around 3.30pm on Sunday August 22.

Police Scotland have described as 5ft 4ins in height, of a large build with black hair which is tied back in a ponytail.

Debbie was wearing a white t-shirt, black trousers and black and white trainers at the time of her disappearance.

The 51-year-old was also wearing black framed glasses and carrying a red over the shoulder handbag when she went missing.

Anyone who has seen Debbie or may have any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference no. PS-20210822-3573.

It comes after an "anxious" search to find 13-year-old Nicki (Junior) Davidson who went missing in Aberdeen on Tuesday August 17.

He was later found safe and well on Thursday August 19.
