Urgent search for woman who disappeared from Elgin hospital known by three different names

A woman missing from hospital in Moray has sparked a huge police search.

Carol Russell was last seen at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin at around 6pm on Sunday.

The 48-year-old is also known to use the names Raine Russell and Apple Russell.

She is known to frequent the Lossiemouth area.

Carol is described as white, around five feet, seven inches tall tall and speaks with an English accent.

She has long, brown hair and is believed to be wearing a white floating style skirt, fawn coloured waist length jumper, a black jacket and flip flops.

Police are urging anyone with information on Carol's whereabouts to get in touch.

A spokesperson from North East Police Division said: "Police in Moray are appealing for information from the public to trace a missing woman from Elgin. Carol Russell, 48, also known as Raine Russell, has been missing from Dr Gray’s hospital in Elgin since about 6pm on Sunday, January 31.

"She is also known to use Apple Russell as her name, and is known to frequent the Lossiemouth area.

"We would ask anyone who may have information in relation to this enquiry, or if Carol is seen, to contact police via 101 (Ref. 3027 of 31/01)."
