Twin teenage schoolboys in Scotland missing for 24 hours found

Twin teenage boys who went missing for 24 hours have been found.

Aiden and Aaron Lochrie left their home address in East Kilbride around 7.30am on Saturday.

Police Scotland, who are leading the investigation, said it was not known what direction the brothers travelled in, reports the Daily Record.

Shortly before 8am on Sunday police confirmed they had been found.

Prior to that Inspector Mark McLachlan said: “Aiden and Aaron’s current whereabouts is unknown and our concern is growing due to their age and the passage of time as they have not been in contact with family.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen Aaron or Aiden to contact us. Any small piece of information could help us find them.”

Aiden is described around 4ft 7in and of slim build. He has short light brown hair and brown eyes, and usually wears glasses, however, the family say he has left home without these.

He was last seen wearing a blue Puma T-shirt with a star on the front, blue shorts and black and grey socks, and was not wearing any shoes.

Aiden was carrying a black over the shoulder bag with a Yoda logo on the front.

His brother Aaron is described as slightly taller at 4ft 9in, of slim build and with short brown hair and brown eyes. He also usually wears glasses but has left these at home.

He was last seen wearing a blue Converse tracksuit, blue and orange trainers and was carrying a black over the shoulder bag with a Yoda logo on the front.
