Urgent search for teenage girl, 16, last spotted walking towards park on Christmas Eve

A frantic police search has been launched for a 16-year-old girl who vanished on Christmas Eve.

Charlie Coleman was last seen at 10.55pm walking toward Alexandra Park in Hastings.

Inspector Dan Russell, who is heading the investigation for Sussex Police, said: "We are searching for Charlie as we are concerned about her welfare and would like to hear from anyone who knows where she is or has any seen her."

Charlie is white, 5ft 2ins tall and has dark blonde/brown long hair.

The missing teen was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket with a hood trimmed with thick fur, grey Nike leggings and black trainers.

Anyone who sees Charlie should ring 999 and quote serial 1358 of 24/12.

In a statement police said: "Police are concerned for missing teenager Charlie Coleman from Hastings.

"The 16-year-old was last seen on Christmas Eve (Thursday 24 December) at 10.55pm heading in the direction of Alexandra Park, Hastings.

"Charlie is white, 5' 2", with dark blonde/brown long hair and was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket with a hood trimmed with thick fur, grey Nike leggings and black trainers."
