An 86-year-old man has been found safe after being reported missing in East Lothian.
There was concern for Charles White, who was last seen at Johnny Moat Place in Prestonpans at 1pm on Thursday
He had not been in touch with his family and police issued an appeal to the public to help find him.
Police Scotland announced he had been traced safe and well on Thursday evening.
The force said: "Missing 86 year old Charles White has been traced safe and well. Thanks to everyone who shared our post."
