Urgent search for missing Scots teen girl as concern grows for welfare

An urgent search has been launched for a missing Scots teen last seen this afternoon as concern grows for her welfare.

Carrie Wild, from Dunblane, was reported missing in Glasgow on Monday and was last seen around 3.15pm in the Springburn area.

The 18-year-old is described as being white, of slim build and has long dark blonde hair.

When she was last seen she was wearing a white flowery top, a beige cardigan and black leggings.

Inspector Bob Anderson from Baird Street Police Station said: “There are concerns for Carrie’s welfare and we’re asking anyone who may have seen her since this time, or has information on where she could be, to get in touch.

“If Carrie sees this I’d urge her to contact either her family or police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is being urged contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2376 of 28 June.
