Urgent search for missing Scots schoolboy, 14, last seen days ago

An urgent search has been launched for a missing schoolboy last seen days ago.

Lucas Parkinson has been reported missing from the Paisley area and was last seen around 5pm on Wednesday September 15.

The 14-year-old is described as being around 5ft 8 in height, of a medium build, with brown eyes and curly short brown hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing a grey Nike tracksuit and dark blue and grey Nike trainers.

Police are urgently trying to locate the teen and following up on unconfirmed reports Lucas may have travelled to Leeds.

Sergeant Will Thomson, Paisley Police Station, said: “Officers have been carrying out significant enquiries since Lucas was reported missing but so far no one has seen or heard from him.

"However, in saying that, we have had information that he may have travelled to the Leeds area of England but that is unconfirmed as yet.

"We have been liaising with our colleagues at British Transport Police to check to see if he boarded a train and also with bus companies, however, we'd also appeal to anyone who may have seen him recently or who has any information that will assist us with tracing him.

"I'd also ask Lucas himself to contact his family, friends or police to let them know where his is."

Police are urging anyone with information to call them on 101, quoting incident number 2398 of 16/09/21.
