Urgent search for missing schoolboy, 13, last seen a week ago

Police are becoming "very concerned" for the welfare of a 13-year-old boy who has been missing for a week.

Blake Courtney was last seen at the British Legion on Castle Road in Runcorn, on August 2, and hasn't been seen since.

The schoolboy disappeared at 2.45pm that day and a search is underway to find him.

He is described as being of average height and a medium to large build.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Cheshire Police said a number of enquiries are being made to trace Blake and officers are appealing to the public for help in trying to find him.

Insp Neil Anson said: “We’ve been making a number of enquiries to trace Blake but have not so far managed to trace him and we are becoming very concerned for his welfare.

"I’d urge anyone who had seen him or know of his whereabouts to get in touch with us.

“Blake, your family are also concerned for your welfare so please get in touch.”
