Urgent search for missing 14-year-old girl from Johnstone

An urgent public appeal has been made to trace a missing 14-year-old girl from Renfrewshire.

Monica Monaghan was last seen around 6.20pm on Friday, October 22 in the Greenend Avenue area of Johnstone.

She is described as being around 4ft 11ins in height, with long black hair. When last seen she was wearing a grey body warmer, black leggings and white trainers.

It is believed Monica may have travelled to the Ayrshire area.

Constable Stuart Hodge said: “I am appealing for anyone who has seen Monica, or has any information on her whereabouts to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 4158 of 22 October.
