Urgent roadworks on Maryhill Road delayed

Urgent roadworks due to take place on Maryhill Road last night have been delayed.

The drainage works, which will see Maryhill Road closed between Dalsholm Road and Acre Road, were initially set to get underway between 11pm last night and 5am this morning (Saturday), however they have now been put back 24 hours.

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) this morning confirmed: "These works have been rescheduled and will now be carried out on Saturday 25 January 2020 (2300 – 0500).

"In order to undertake urgent drainage works, Maryhill Road will be closed between Dalsholm Road and Acre Road (both directions)".

Diversions are in place and will be signposted.
