Latest urgent product recalls from Asda, Tesco and Lidl

A number of supermarkets  are urgently recalling products over fears of E.coli and salmonella.

Make sure you take a look in your fridge, freezer and cupboards for all the items listed below.

There are fears some items may contain metal while in others, important ingredients have been left off the label and could cause an allergic reaction.

Customers have been urged to return the items to the store where they were purchased.

Here's our list for items being recalled:

The Vegetarian Butcher recalls Little Willies Lincolnshire Style Sausages because they may contain plastic pieces

Issued on May 1

The Vegetarian Butcher is recalling Little Willies Lincolnshire Style Sausages because they may contain pieces of plastic, which makes this product unsafe to eat.

All used by dates between 22 April 2019 and 15 May 2019 are included.

Fromagerie Alpine recalls Saint Félicien and Saint Marcellin raw cow’s milk cheese because of possible contamination with E. coli

Issued on May 1

Fromagerie Alpine is recalling Saint Félicien and Saint Marcellin raw cow’s milk cheese because the products might contain E. coli. The products are sold by Tesco and Harrods.

All used by dates between March 8, 2019 and June 16, 2019 are included.

Monolith (UK) recalls Halva because it may contain small pieces of metal

Monolith (UK) Ltd is recalling Zolotoi Vek Halva from sunflower seeds with vanilla flavour because it may contain small pieces of metal, which makes it unsafe to eat and presents a safety risk.

Best before date of August 20, 2019 is included in recall.

EH Booths recalls British Corned Beef (three slices) because it may contain metal pieces. The presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat and presents a safety risk.

Used by date of May 8, 2019 included in recall.

Updated: Asda recalls two of its own-brand Cereal Bars because of the possible presence of salmonella

Asda has taken the precautionary step of recalling its Peanut and Almond Cereal Bars in addition to its Cranberry and Nut Cereal Bars (packs of four) because the products might contain salmonella.

Best before end: September 2019 included in recall.

United Biscuits is recalling go ahead! Nutty Crunch Hazelnut (6 bars) because some packs may contain peanuts, which are not mentioned as an ingredient on the label.

Best before October 1, 2019 included in recall.

Lidl is recalling HealthyCo Proteinella Smooth Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread because it contains hazelnuts, almonds and milk which are not written in English on the label.

Lidl is recalling HealthyCo Proteinella Smooth Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread because it contains hazelnuts, almonds and milk which are not written in English on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Best before of April 3, 2020 included in recall.
