Urgent recall issued for batches of baby milk sold in Dublin

Parents have been warned as an urgent recall has been issued for three batches of baby milk sold across Dublin.

The Hipp Organic Combiotic First Infant Milk Starter Pack products have been recalled by the Food Safety Authority.

The products in question include a pack size of 6x90ml bottles and teats, the Irish Mirror reports.

They have been recalled due to the presence of undeclared fish.

The best-before dates of the affected batches are as follows:

  • 9th January 2020 with batch number: L-099191
  • 11th March 2020 with batch number: L-162192
  • 5th April 2020 with batch number: L-186191

An FSAI spokesman said: "Hipp UK Ltd. is recalling the above batches of its Organic Combiotic First Infant Milk Starter Pack, as the product contains fish which is not declared on the label.

"This may make the implicated batches unsafe for those who are allergic to or intolerant of fish or its constituents."
