Urgent police appeal to find missing boy last seen getting on train

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to help track down an 11-year-old boy last seen getting on a train on Thursday afternoon.

Staffordshire Police said Lance was last seen at around 2.03pm on Thursday (June 22) getting on a train at Kidsgrove Train Station in Stoke-on-Trent.

It is believed he may have been travelling to Manchester.

Lance is described as being a black male, around 4ft tall and of a slim build. He was wearing a black puffa jacket and Under Armour joggers at the time of his appearance, alongside black Nike trainers.

He also has short black afro hair and was carrying a black shoulder bag.

Lance, 11, has been missing since Thursday and could have travelled to Manchester (GMP)

Anyone with information to share is being asked to contact police. A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “We need your help in finding 11-year-old Lance.

“He was last seen at around 2.03pm on Thursday 22/06/2023, getting on a train at Kidsgrove Train Station. It is believed he may have travelled to Manchester.

“Lance is described as a black male, 4ft tall, of slim build, with short black afro hair. He was last seen wearing Under Armour joggers, a black puffa jacket and black Nike trainers & carrying a black shoulder bag.”
