Urgent police appeal over 'high-risk' missing man, 60, last seen near Debenhams in the Trafford Centre

Police have issued an urgent appeal for the public's help to find a missing man from Latvia who was last seen near the Debenhams department store in the Trafford Centre.

Andris Damkovisa is 60 and doesn't speak English.

Greater Manchester Police have classed him as a 'high-risk' missing person.

The force say he doesn't know the area and is visiting the country.

He was last seen at around 9.15pm on Wednesday night, near Debenhams.

The appeal has been issued on the force's social media channels.

No photograph of him has been released.

He's said to be 6ft tall and was wearing a black jumper and blue trousers.

In a statement, GMP said: "Greater Manchester Police are asking for help in locating a high-risk missing person last seen in the Trafford Centre, near to Debenhams.

"A 60-year-old male named Andris Damkovisa was last seen at 9.15pm in the centre.

"He is visiting from Latvia and does not speak English and does not know the area.

"He is a white male, 6ft tall with light brown hair, average build and clean shaven.

"He was wearing a black jumper and blue pants. Anyone who thinks they may have seen this man please ring 101 and quote ref: 2478 030419."
