Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a missing teenager who was last seen outside her school.
Sophie Fraser, 14, was last seen near Our Ladies High School on Alworth Road in Blackley this morning (Wednesday 31) at 11am.
Officers have branded her case as 'high risk,' and are desperate for information about her whereabouts.
She was dropped off at the school but police do not believe she went into the grounds.
Sophie was last seen wearing her school uniform which is a white shirt, grey skirt, dark leather jacket, black tights and long dark brown hair to the waist.
Anyone with information about the teenager's whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
GMP Manchester North posted: "High risk missing - Sophie Fraser, 14 years, was last seen near Our Ladies High School, Alworth Rd, Blackley at around 11am this morning.
"She was dropped off at school but didn't go in. She is wearing school uniform, white shirt, grey skirt, dark leather jacket, black tights and long dark brown hair to the waist.
"There are concerns for her welfare and officers are asking if you have seen her to contact Response Sergeants Office at Central Park Police Station - 0161 856 3924."
