The youngster is thought to frequently visit Manchester City Centre, Stretford and the Gorse Hill areas.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts have been urged to contact police immediately.

Police have released a photograph of Darren in his school uniform in the hope that someone may recognise him.

"Darren is likely to frequent Manchester City Centre, Stretford Arndale and the Gorse Hill areas.

"If you have seen Darren please contact Greater Manchester Police on 101 or via live chat and quote log 3093-21072021."
