Urgent police appeal for help to find 'high risk' girl missing from Wythenshawe

UPDATE: HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE AND WELL.

Police have launched an urgent appeal for help to find a girl missing from home for three days.

Sogand Behboobi was last seen in Wythenshawe on Saturday (August 29).

Officers say she is deemed 'high risk'. She has a history of visiting Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester city centre.

Sogand is Iranian. She is of slim build and has long, black hair.

Sogand is thought to have last been seen wearing a grey hoodie and black and grey leggings.

She wears glasses.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Sogand - or have any information concerning her whereabouts - is urged to contact 999.

A statement on GMP Wythenshawe's Facebook page reads: "Sogand Behboobi has gone missing from the Wythenshawe area. She was last seen on 29/08/2020.

"Sogand has history of frequenting Piccadilly Gardens in the city centre. Sogand is at high risk.

"Sogand is described as an Iranian female, slim build, black long hair, grey hoodie with black and grey leggings. She also wears glasses.

"Any sightings or information please ring 999 and tell them the information. Thank you."
