Urgent hunt launched for missing 17-year-old Scots girls

Cops have launched an urgent hunt for two missing Scots teenagers.

There are 'increasing concerns' for 17-year-olds Cheryl Hutchison and Christina Lawson who have both been reported missing from Spittal Street, Stirling and are believed to be together.

They pair were last see around 8.10pm last night on the street but have since vanished.

Christina has been reported missing (Police Scotland)

Christina is described as white, 5 ft 9 and slim build.

She has long brown hair, last seen wearing it in a ponytail, and has brown eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans but it is unknown what top she had on or what colour her jeans were.

Concerns are also growing for Cheryl (Police Scotland)

Cheryl is described as white, 4 ft 9 and slim build.

She has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a nose piercing. She was last seen wearing grey jogging bottoms and possibly a pink t-shirt.

Both are known to frequent the Stirling, Falkirk and Dunfermline areas.

Sergeant Andy Gardner from Stirling Police Office said 'Christina and Cheryl have been missing for a number of hours now and we are growing increasingly concerned for them. We have a number of resources dedicated to looking for them and I would ask for assistance from the public in helping us find them'.
