Urgent hunt for 'high risk' missing woman as police 'concerned' over disappearance

Police say they are highly concerned following the disappearance of woman who was last heard from more than a week ago.

Devine Munkonkele hasn't been seen since December 24 with friends last speaking to her 10 days ago on December 30.

Police say her disappearance is out of character.

The 23-year-old from Lewisham, London, was formally reported missing on Sunday night and has been classed as a high risk missing person with detectives now sharing an appeal to find her.

An investigation has been launched with the Met Police urging Devine, or anyone who knows of her whereabouts, to come forward or at least let them know she is safe.

A spokesperson for the Lewisham police team said: "We are concerned for the welfare of Devine Munkonkele who was last spoken to on 30th Dec by a friend.

"Devine has links to Lewisham and her disappearance is out of character.

"High risk missing person investigation is ongoing."

Anybody who knows anything about where Devine is should call the Met on non emergency number 101, quoting case number 23MIS000928.
