An eight-year-old boy has issued a heartwarming appeal to find a 'loving' foster home.
Jamie urgently needs a foster home as his own mother is unable to look after him due to health issues.
The Northern Trust have issued the appeal on social media in a bid to help Jamie find a home.
The appeal reads: "Hi! I'm Jamie, I have dark hair and dark eyes and I'm funny, talkative and very curious - I love to ask questions!
"I am an energetic boy, I love exploring outdoors, going to the beach, and the play park. One of my favourite hobbies is collecting and studying bugs and I love doing science experiments with an adults help.
"I work best with the support of an adult and feel very proud of myself when I complete a goal. I have a diagnosis of High Functioning Autism, ADHD and ODD but this does not prevent me from doing anything, it just means I need help with my understanding and concentration.
"Can you give me a loving home?"
A spokesperson for the Northern Trust posted: "We urgently need to find a foster home for eight year old Jamie* who cannot live with his mum as she has health issues.
"Jamie needs stability and a patient carer who will love and nurture him and shares his love of the outdoors. With clear boundaries, and a caring and structured approach, Jamie will reach his full potential and feel supported and enabled to build lasting relationships.
