Urgent appeal to trace missing Fife man as concerns grow for his welfare

Police have launched an urgent appeal to trace a missing Fife man. Ernest Nicholson was reported missing on the morning of Monday, February 13.

Authorities are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the 57-year-old from Cowdenbeath. They believe he may be in the West Fife area and have asked for the public's assistance in tracing the missing man.

Ernest is described as being around 5ft 8in tall and bald. It is not currently known what he is wearing.

Sergeant John Nicol, from Cowdenbeath Police Station, said: “There are concerns for Ernest’s welfare and are asking anyone who knows where he is or who has seen him to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0868 of February 13, 2023.
