Urgent appeal to trace missing Bristol man who could be 'very unwell'

Call 999 immediately if you spot this missing Bristol man.

Officers have tonight (November 18) released an 'urgent' appeal to trace Christopher Ash, who has disappeared without his insulin.

Christopher, who has dementia, is diabetic and is likely to become very unwell without his medicine.

The 66-year-old man was last seen by staff at his south Bristol care home at around 3.30pm.

He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, with short greying dark hair.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We urgently need your help to find missing man Christopher Ash.

"He’s likely to be wearing a dark shirt, dark trousers and slippers.

"Officers are searching the south Bristol area but if you see him please call 999 and tell the call handler you’re phoning in relation to log 830 of today (18 November)."
