Police are appealing for help from the public to trace a missing Barrhead woman.
Leia Fairfield disappeared this afternoon at around 1.15pm (Monday, October 7) having been last seen as she left home.
Leia is about 5 '4" tall, has long brown hair in pigtails, wears glasses with a pink frame, and today was wearing a yellow anorak, green khaki jeans and salmon coloured trainers.
She was carrying a pink rucksack.
Leia has travelled to Paisley and Glasgow before.
She was seen earlier near to the Fereneze Golf Course.
A Police Scotland statement reads: "Anyone who has seen Leia today, or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to call us on the 101 number, quoting the reference number 1726 7/10."
