Urgent appeal to find vulnerable pensioner who disappeared in Glasgow yesterday

Police are appealing for help from the public to trace a pensioner who went missing in Glasgow yesterday afternoon.

Rose Quinn, 81, was last seen around 4.15pm (Thursday, January 10) outside her home in The Oval in the Clarkston area.

Rose is described as 4ft 10 tall and of slim build. She has grey hair and was last seen wearing a grey fleece.
Sergeant Graeme Waite, Giffnock Police Office, said: "Rose has dementia and therefore may appear confused. She has previously been reported missing and was found in the Shawlands area.

"We believe she will be on foot but may have walked a far distance since she was last seen.

"We are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can make sure she is safe and well."

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 2917 of Thursday, 9 January, 2020.
