Urgent appeal to find vulnerable missing 73-year-old Samuel Mclelland from Paisley

An urgent appeal has been launched to help find a vulnerable 73-year-old man missing from the Paisley area.

Samuel Mclelland was last seen at around 4.30pm today in the Glenburn area. It is believed he was in the Paisley town centre area heading towards Neilston Road around 1700hrs on the same day.

Police Scotland are now appealing for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Samuel is described as a white male, 5ft 8in in height, of an average build with white hair and possibly wearing a light coloured jacket.

Sergeant Matt Richardson at Paisley Police Station said: "We are extremely concerned for Samuels wellbeing and safety. He is a vulnerable adult who we want to trace as soon as possible.

"Anyone who has seen Samuel or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 3212 of 29/10/19."
