Police have issued an appeal for help tracing a teenager who has now been missing from home for more than 48 hours.
The 15-year-old girl, named only as Melissa, was last seen i n Manchester city centre at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, December 7 according to Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
Officers say they want to make sure she is safe and well.

She is said to be 5ft 5in tall, with long, brown hair. When last seen she was wearing grey cargo trousers and a black and white hoodie.
In a post on their social media channels, GMP has asked anyone with information about Melissa’s whereabouts to call them on 101 quoting log number 1941-071222. "In an emergency always call 999" they said.
