Urgent appeal to find Steven Smith who went missing from Bishop Auckland

Police have issued an urgent appeal to help find a man who went missing from County Durham.

Steven Smith was last seen at Brinkburn Close, Bishop Auckland, at around 4pm on Friday.

The 32-year-old is described as 6ft and of heavy build, with short hair and beard.

He is believed to be wearing a green hoody and dark shorts and may be driving a black Toyota Yaris.

Along with an appeal, Durham Constabulary also shared a photo of Steven and urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Have you seen missing 32-year-old Steven Smith?

"Steven was last seen at Brinkburn Close, Bishop Auckland, at around 4pm yesterday (Friday, March 26).

"He is described as 6ft and of heavy build, with short hair and beard, and is believed to be wearing a green hoody and dark shorts.

"Steven may be driving a black Toyota Yaris.

"If you have any information relating to his whereabouts, please contact Durham Police on 101, quoting incident number 280 of March 26."
