Police are appealing for help from the public to find a missing Wishaw woman.
Emma Watson, 32, disappeared from Gowkthrapple around 3.30pm today (Friday).
Her family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Emma is described as being 5ft 2, white, with fair/ blonde hair in a ponytail with a slim build.
She was last seen wearing white trousers, a khaki jacket and blue boots.
Inspector Lewis, from Motherwell Police station, said: "Emma has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character for her and her friends are understandably worried about it. We have a number of police resources out looking for Emma and I am now looking for the assistance from the public."
