Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing teenager who grew up in Manchester.

Abbie-Lea Bolshaw now lives in Blackpool but may be in her hometown, officers said.

Police are 'extremely concerned for her welfare', according to a post on Facebook.

The 15-year-old disappeared in a pink dressing gown at around 9.30am on Monday (March 9).

She was last seen on Bispham Road in Blackpool.

Abbie-Lea is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall and of petite build.

She has blonde hair and may be wearing wigs or extensions.

She was last seen wearing black leggings with Armani written on them and a pink dressing gown.

The teenager has links to Morecambe, Carnforth, Lancaster and Cumbria.

"We are extremely concerned for her welfare and need anyone with information to get in touch. For immediate sightings of Abbie-Lea, please dial 999", a post on the Lancashire Police Facebook page said.

Anyone with information about where she could be is asked to call 101 quoting incident reference 305 of March 9.
