Urgent appeal to find missing girl, 16, last seen at school in Trafford

Police have launched an appeal for information on the whereabouts of a teenager from Eccles who has been reported missing after last being seen at school.

Thamara Ahmad, 16, was last seen at Flixton Girls’ School in Trafford at around 2.30pm this afternoon (October 13).

Thamara is described as an Asian female of slim build and around 5 ft 5.

She was last seen with short dark hair tied back in a ponytail.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Greater Manchester Police.

A police spokesperson said: “Can you help police find a missing 16-year-old girl from Eccles?

“Thamara Ahmad was last seen at Flixton Girls' School, Trafford, at 2.30pm today (13 October).

“She's described as an Asian female of slim build, 5ft5, with short dark hair tied back in a ponytail.

“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Thamara and want to make sure she is safe and well.”
