Urgent appeal to find missing Edinburgh man last seen in early hours of this morning

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing Edinburgh man, who was last seen in the early hours of this morning. 

Naseem Ahmed - also known as Mohammed Tahmith Naseem Ahmed - was thought to last be near Calder Road at around 3am this morning (Thursday 7 May).

The 21-year-old described as being 5ft 4inches tall, of slim build, with dark hair and beard, possibly wearing a black jacket with a fur hood, dark tracksuit bottoms and Nike trainers.

Inspector Scott Kennedy, Wester Hailes Police Station said: "Naseem has not been seen since 3am on this morning  and we have serious concerns for his welfare.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Naseem, or recognises his description, to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 0571 of today's date".
