Urgent appeal to find missing east Belfast man

An appeal has been issued to find a missing east Belfast man.

The PSNI have issued an appeal to find 24-year-old Mark Wright who was last seen at 8.50am on Thursday morning in the Holywood Road area.

His family are very concerned for his wellbeing.

Mark has been described as 5’9 with a stubble beard and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, white t shirt, grey Nike jogging bottoms and white Londsdale sneakers.

It is understood that the police helicopter has been deployed in the east Belfast area to help in the search for Mark.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen him or know of his where about to contact them.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Mark Wight, 24 years old was last seen on Holywood Road on Thursday 3rd September wearing a blue hoodie, white t shirt, grey Nike jogging bottoms and white londsdale sneakers. He is 5’9, stubble beard and short brown hair. He was last seen at 0850 hours.

"Marks family are concerned for his well being.

"If you have any information in relation to this persons’ whereabouts contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1798 of 3/9/20."
