Urgent appeal to find 'high risk' missing woman in her 80s with dementia

Police are appealing for help in finding a missing woman in her 80s with dementia who was last seen near a train station.

Mary Patricia Lloyd, 81, was last sighted walking away from Stalybridge train station at about 4pm today.

Anyone who sees her is being urged to call 999.

Mary has dementia and is described as being of slim build, with long silver or grey hair.

She is wearing a maroon top and trousers and had a black shoulder bag.

On the GMP Tameside South and West Facebook page, officers said: "** HIGH RISK MISSING **

"Mary Patricia Lloyd aged 81 was last seen at 16:00 today 15/04/21 leaving Stalybridge Train Station on foot.

"Mary has dementia and her whereabouts is still unknown.

"She is described as a white female, no more than 5ft 6 in height, slim build.

"She has long silver / grey hair and is wearing maroon coloured top and trousers and a black shoulder bag.

"Numerous officers are currently engaged with enquiries to locate her.

"If you sight her (Tameside or Stockport in particular) please call 999 quoting Log 1833 15/04/21."
